Gabriela leads the Corporate Affairs function, including Communications, Corporate Citizenship and Government Affairs, for the Latin America Beverages business as well as the Foods businesses in Central America, the Caribbean, Andean countries and the South Cone. In this role she is responsible for corporate reputation, managing relationships with external stakeholders and developing social impact programs in communities where PepsiCo operates.

Gabriela has been at PepsiCo since 2008 and has held a variety of roles including
Environmental Sustainability, Occupational Health and Safety, Citizenship and
Sustainability, as well as Communications in Latin America.
Previous to PepsiCo, Gabriela was a consultant for the Multilateral Investment Fund at the Inter-American Development Bank and before that a Junior Professional Associate at the World Bank Group both in Washington, D.C. At these positions, Gabriela worked on Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, good corporate governance and base of the pyramid initiatives.
 

Gabriela has a bachelor’s degree on Marketing and Business from the Instituto
Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey University in Mexico, as well as professional training on Corporate Responsibility, Sustainability, Health & Safety, and Communications. 

She currently lives in Miami, Florida.
